Hello Families! Would you love for photos to be full of laughter and session to be easy going for everyone (including your husband?) **wink wink** Come and see the studio by the lake and soon to have a beach. Listen to the trees rustle, the koi pond fountain bubble and the birds chirp. See all the different blooming flowers and take a stroll under stalks of swaying bamboo and forget the outside world and join us in paradise. It's a relaxed and fun environment that will have your family smiling in no time. Throughout the year, we have indoor and outdoor mini sessions! But if you have a place that is special to you, Emmy Jay Photography can meet you there.
About Our Location
We are on almost an acre of botanical gardens and trees that help create gorgeous photo opportunities for you and your family. Shade is prevalent, the 800 sq ft studio is air conditioned and we invite you to relax in such a peaceful surround! After you pull up the drive that is flanked with luscious tropical trees and flowers. I will meet you to take a stroll towards a hidden oasis. As you enter the backyard, the views of the lake and the Old Florida feel will transport you to places you may have never been to, but give you the feeling like you may never want to leave.

Yes! As a Florida native, I know how unpredictable the weather can be and how hot and humid! The humidity can sometimes make or break our favorite hairstyles. So, having air-conditioned studio space is definitely something Emmy Jay Photography has to offer! Three walls are bright white with lots of windows and french doors which let in so much beautiful natural light and I have 1 dark grey accent wall. Also newly available is studio lighting with colored backdrops. If there is something you'd like to have at your session, ask and see if it is or can be made available.
Do you have an indoor studio?

Neutrals such as blush, tans, light pinks, faint blues and teals, creams, grays and whites will always result in more of a light and airy look to your images!
- If you’re really looking for a soft, feminine look, I recommend a flowing, maxi-length dress or skirt! The movement of this type of fabric photographs beautifully!
- The goal is to COORDINATE instead of MATCH! I also recommend avoiding everyone wearing WHITE as a top.
This won’t allow for any contrast in your images.
I recommend that you avoid patterns that are smaller than a dime! These small patterns can create strange visual effects in a digital camera. Close-toed shoes photograph well and I recommend avoiding graphic tees and tennis shoes

When will I get my final images?

After you receive your hand edited gallery of high resolution images, they are ready to be downloaded and saved. Your gallery may be shared if you wish by simply forwarding your gallery email. You can order prints directly from your gallery through Emmy Jay Photography and they will be printed by one of the best professional print labs available and sent to your door step. Prints, canvas art, and albums are available for purchase as well. You may also choose to print them on your own. Please print from a professional lab rather than a drug store or big box store for quality purposes. You have already invested in getting the pictures taken, please invest in the printing of your images. You'll be glad you did!
